Excuse my complete lameness, but this is something I've wondered about ever since reading about people text chatting while playing Audio-Quake. Wouldn't that interfeer with gameplay? I mean, since both require your hands, wouldn't you have to pause the game a lot while you typed your text message, and wouldn't that detract from the intensity of play? Or do people prefer voice-chat during gameplay for that precise reason? Just curious. I ask as someone who's never done it before. The idea of being able to chat with people with whom you're gaming online as you play though does sound very cool.
