Personally, I would prefer voice chat. If people were playing Top Speed and
were stopping to text chat, the whole game would pause for everyone, taking
away the fun. Voice chat in Top Speed would rock!

Excuse my complete lameness, but this is something I've wondered about ever 
since reading about people text chatting while playing Audio-Quake. 
Wouldn't that interfeer with gameplay?  I mean, since both require your 
hands, wouldn't you have to pause the game a lot while you typed your text 
message, and wouldn't that detract from the intensity of play?  Or do people

prefer voice-chat during gameplay for that precise reason? Just curious.  I 
ask as someone who's never done it before.  The idea of being able to chat 
with people with whom you're gaming online as you play though does sound 
very cool.
