I largely agree; it is ridiculous to have the whole thread (and all
those greater-thans) in every single post!
However, as I often come to a thread in the middle of it I request that
you post your message AFTER the quote, so that people can follow it more
easily. This is has been the netizen standard since (e-mail) time began
and sadly very few people use it nowadays (undoubtedly because
Microsoft's e-mail clients promote confusing top-posting). Getting the
answer before the question really deters casual readers like me from
participating here.
