what about you start with a racer, buy it then modify it.
Only you buy the racer cheap because its a slow model.
You need to do things to it.
You can hack around with the racer.
I have seen this in sighted games.
You rip your car to bits and hack its parts.
Each part costs different prices.
You choose engine size and type and other parts have types and sizes.
