Josh,

To tell you the truth, I originally bought this game because it was
advertised as being cerebral and puzzle-oriented. The problem I've found,
though, is that because of the monthly contest, the game was built to be
near impossible. For me, I'd rather have something more cerebral and
puzzle-oriented. If you ask just about anyone, they will tell you that they
get their best results from randomly flipping coins, without paying
particular attention to the size of the explosions.
I wonder if in a future patch, you could have an option to play for money,
or play for fun. The latter would have to have some other sort of challenge,
which I will think of as soon as something comes to me, and the former would
remain as it is.
Also, I would like to point out that it is extremely frustrating to cycle
through the same two or three coins on a discard repeatedly when you're just
searching for one. When all you need is a fifty, for example, and your
discards give you penny, nickel, nickel, quarter, quarter, quarter, quarter,
penny, penny, nickel, penny, fifty, you tend to get a bit frustrated.
Especially on double or nothing.
I will brainstorm on this, but I truly wonder if you would ever consider
having an option where we don't have to play with near impossible odds in
the hope of winning real cash. Any thoughts you have would be much
appreciated.
I was suddenly struck by a few thoughts.
I am suddenly reminded of jawbreaker. Perhaps in a non-cash game, you would
be awarded points based on the size of the explosions, and if you filled the
game board to a certain level, the game would end. Perhaps, also, you could
have a certain amount of time to place each coin, but not a certain amount
of time to finish a level. Perhaps if you failed to place a piece in time,
it would drop where you were hovering, and the next piece would give you
even less time to place it. You could reset or slow down the piece timer by
making a big explosion.

Yours Sincerely,
Ryan

We are wondering how many of you have tried the new Change Reaction
difficulty levels, and what you think of them. Over the years, Adora
and Draconis both got many many e-mails requesting an easier level
that gave you more time, so we hope that the addition of the Easy and
Insane levels is enjoyable to you all. *grin*
