I have a plastic accordian type dryer hose at this point. the drier is only about 3 feet from the whole in the wall. Are the mettle ones recommended for this application also? I also have an add on gadget that you can switch the flapper valve to run the air in the house or out of the house depending on the weather. Any thoughts on these?
