Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. All we're looking for is cooling. We have the heating system which is fine. It gets hot and sticky enough here for my taste. Sure there are warmer climates but when the news is issuing heat warnings how much hotter does it really need to get. We have the electrical service to handle the load just fine as well. I guess questions about specific units and or brand name systems. What part of the country do you live? Hot? cold? high humidity? Do you want heatpump? Electric with gas furnace? Sizing, efficiency ratings, proper wiring are very important.
