Larry, the thing is about 6 inches long by 3 inches high. It has 2 movable jaws which move from about .75 of an inch out to 2 inches or so. So, if I can't clamp it to a surface, I rest it on the surface and drill. It has 4 or 5 holes of different sizes. A couple of the holes have bushings that screw out.
