recently Boop started a discussion on hornets and she lives back East.
I just thought I'd add a couple of thoughts as I got them from Walla
Walla, washington. A Friend of mine had a professional on his property
doing some work and low and behold after knocking down a few yellow
jacket nests, he also found a swarm or group of yellow jackets bigger
than a basketball. these were hidden under a well insulated cover for a
lawn sprinkler system. that cover would have been taken off by my blind
friend and he would have reached down into a swarm of estimated a
thousand or more yellow jackets to turn the system off for the season.
My reason for posting this Friends is I know we like to do lots of
things for ourselves , however consider the dangers of what seems to be
an over abundant supply or stock of hornets and yellow jackets this
year around the States. . Just a fyi. Lee
