Dale, I have the Kelvin talking thermostat, and it comes with a very 
comprehensive CD manual, and a print manual with drawings.  So far, no problems.

There are two models of that unit, one for heat pump installations however 
they are otherwise the same. There is also the Kelvin I believe it is 
called, the one which responds to spoken instruction. There is someone on 
this list with one but I forget who it is.

I don't think there is much instruction with that unit but again I am 
uncertain of that.
