Your post is interesting, but totally one sided and that is from a
blind point of view.
Be nice if there was direction for jobs and products for the blind
along with the sighted. However, no matter what you think or say.
Many people out there in todays society still get amazed that we can
even do the most simple things being blind. Things that if a sighted
person said it they wouldn't even give it a second thought.
By knowing how the sighted do it, and your own abilities. You can
come up with a reasonable way of doing something people didn't think
you could do in the first place.
If you want a example of just how much people or friends think of
your blindness. Tell them that you cook or something simple that you
know wouldn't get a response from a sighted person doing it, check
there response. That alone is why things have no direction or even a
clue out side of directions for the sighted. They make up the mass
selling populous therefor get the easy way out. its up to us to
figure out the blind way of doing things, and sharing that with
others on a list such as this.
