robert, We've done some video tapes here of us blind folks soldering electronics stuff and the like, and could probably come up with something to add.
In ways I'm getting sick of having to prove stuff to sighted folks, but yes it can help, or it seems like it aught too help anyhow. I think many people accept blind wood workers, at least amateurs, but replacing a radiator, or plumbing or the like is likely to make them gasp. Like Dale soldering copper pipe would be a real grabber! If anybody has done a serious project like that I don't know of it. Of course the attitude shouldn't be "oh watch those blind men, isn't it amazing what they can do" but 'Oh, so that's how they do it, gee that might help me do it better my self."
