I have to agree with everyone on this, (nothing like a strong stance). When I first saw Mickey's and Tom's messages, I agreed with them to a certain degree. Sometimes there is virtually nothing I can get out of certain posts, but other times the posts are extremely useful. I am extremely liberal with the delete key but I subscribe to a number of lists work and none work related and my delete key is getting a bit tired.
Never-the-less, I would much rather have Ray and others out there doing the research with the occasional clinker in there rather than always have to do it myself. So, I prefer that we keep things as they were, and there is really no reason at all for anyone to "get the hell out of here". There are a number of people on this list who are pretty much amateurs like myself, a number of folks who are just lurkers, and a few who are exceptionally valuable for their hands on experience. I include Mickey, Tom, and Dale as well as a few others who I can't remember at the moment, in this category. this is a tremendously useful list and I would rather not see it get ripped up in flames over a misunderstanding. So let's get back on the track of building things. -- Blue skies. Dan Rossi Carnegie Mellon University.
