Personally I'm in favor of them so long as they pertain to the subject of being handy. I often take nothing out of them myself as I don't have a vehicle, a table saw, or a drill press either. I do know that many members of this list do have such things though. So the fact that I personally might not benefit from a post of that nature doesn't mean that it shouldn't be posted as somebody might just grab some useful information from it. Like I said so long as it's on topic for the list is the main thing. Along with that though I do hope that somebody is getting use of the information. Sadly there's no way to determine that. Consider this right now this list has 214 subscribers counting the archiving service so chances are good in my opinion that some person out there is learning from any given post. I too would like to have it my disposal more instructional material written for the blind, but as anybody on here over the age of 18 should already know that's not always going to be the case. As a result we must adapt to the sited world as they aren't going to adapt to us. I'm speaking as just another list member right now and nothing more as this is only my opinion. Think about this for a moment I will bet that virtually everybody out there at some time in their life long before becoming a handy person came up with some technique or other to do something that a sited person taught them to do.
