October 19 sent at: 11:15 AM EST Richard, I am guessing as Dale has kindly suggested. Especially that you have mention electric hot water unit. I would do a test on both heating rods. Guessing the bottom one is showing wear. Do you do a yearly empty the water tank to keep the cramp out of the bottom of the tank? I learned that in my other home I use to have. As, here in the city with a Boiler that handles my hot water and forced hot water heat. The pipes need to be cleaned I am not a plumber or want to mess with a Natural Gas boiler, so every two years, I have this Guy Jeff come over and go through my entire system. geno PS: thanks guys for all the valuable information past through this group!
