I have a beeping level, and don't know the manu. But when trying to level a washing machine top quite a few years ago, I foud there was a great varience within the "beeping" range. How long is this model, and what amount of rise under one end or the other will cause it to shut off? When last doing a shelf, I used a vey large ball bearing, as I had no confidence in my level.
