the ongoing saga of a home owner . recently when turning on the hot
water in the kitchen there was like a light tapping. well in the last
two days both the hot water and cold water sides, but not the sprayer
creates a ongoing banging in the pipes while the water is running. Is
this the final death notice to a kitchen faucet which pumps hard water
for about 8 years? I was told by a plumber the last time that it makes
no difference if we installed a more expensive unit or not as the hard
water does a number on all plumbing parts. . and your opinion of the
banging is? thanks.Lee
