Knowing my fumble fingers, it would be nice to find a way that you can check
the level without sending the plumb bob swinging all over the place.
Something like the tactile compasses.

Hi Tom,

I like that idea of using a plumb bob for leveling. If the device 
had a flat bottom and one flat side, it could be used for both 
verticle and horizontal measurements. Time to put my son, the 
mechanical engineer to work. He loves coming up with these types of gadgets.

The $100 audible level I was talking about is made by Macklanburg 
Duncan and is called the Smart Tool Audible level.
