Hello Gene Poole,
I can not emphasize enough what all that has been offered in this group for
what you are talking about doing.
Along with that if this is an older home or a Mobil home, modular home or a
duplex set up. Even in the new homes.
One is the wall or window (you mention in this last e-mail) is a very
dangerous thing to attempt!!!
Can't make it clear or loud enough!! Unless you have someone that knows what
they are doing for the proper piping of the unit from the back of it to the
outdoors and properly vented outside.
Here in the city of Portland in Apartment buildings and homes, we have lots
last winter 4 homes and 3 badly apartment buildings. This year and not all
that long ago being winter is just beginning here. Already 6 chimney fires,
two small houses burned to the ground, One Apartment, this one across the
street. All they did knowing first hand cause my son told me. Stuck the pip
out the window. He was warned and that night while a good fire was going 3
am in the morning the entire front half of the building was on fire. Lucky
for a smart alert young man no one was burned, hurt, or died.
I am asking and not begging but pleading with you, DON'T do what you are
thing of doing!
