Tom, there's a lot of truth in what you say. I only use an iron and I think the last time I pulled out the gun was to solder some large rf connectors. Of course the only reason I pulled out the gun is I didn't have an iron that was sufficient for the job at the time. Yeah, burnt fingers is part of the learning curve.grin How about when you get hot solder on your thumb, don't put it in your mouth and don't solder wearing shorts either. Yeah, it hurts in both cases.grin Yup, I've learned a lot about soldering.grin
