you can actually have your camcorder hooked up to your PC and record the footage if it is tape based to the hard drive and convert it to a suitable video format to DVD. then it can be burned to the dvd you will need a video capture card for your PC. either internal PCI or USB method or firewire and something like pinacle studio or ulead video solution or something like that. bearing in mind I am a computer tech but doesnt deal in video work. lew
