Why don't you simply buy a length of appropriately sized plastic tubing, a couple of radiator clamps and make your own adapter. Not only would you have one heck of a nice sander; but the "ingenuity" you use to have this gift work for you would probably score a lot of points with your wife as well. And as a man who was happily married for almost 22 years I can tell you that there's a lot to be said for showing your beloved that her gift was so appreciated. And the rewards for that aren't easily given to words! ---------------- Bill Gallik E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - "It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not to deserve them." - Mark Twain

This morning under the tree there was a new toy for me a Dewalt sander D26441k. Before purchasing my wife read many reviews and was impressed with all of the 5* ratings. As soon as I examined it I believe that it must be returned. For me dust is a major problem, oil heat and gas hot water and drier. This unit has 8 dust collection holes which is great but the unit as it stands can not be hooked directly to a shop vac. The dust collection bag is oblong as opposed to the standard shop vac sizes. I have to do some searching to see if there is an adaptor available.
