Once you have the interior the way that you want it and any exterior cosmetic work finished. Another very important thing to keep in mind is the suspension and every thing related to the axel and brakes and so on. If this trailer has been sitting for a long time make sure that the weal Barings are in good condition and properly greased. I am not knowledgeable enough about these components to walk you through the prosses. If you and your Dad are not equipped to handle those tasks either ask some one here or bring it to a trailer mechanic. Just make sure it gets done. Seems every summer as people start pulling out their boats to go fishing or boating, you end up seeing some one standing by their boat on the side of the road because a weel baring has failed or they have a flat tire and no spare. Also don't forget to check all the lights and turn signals. I am sure you know that but I have known people to get ecsited about getting on the road and failing to do this.
