Sounds like a great project. As far as bending paneling we have successfully bent both paneling and dry wall. For both the paneling and dry wall on the reverse side we made many small parallel cuts about 3/4 deep. Then with a sponge we wet the back with hot water and we were able to slowly bend re-wetting as we were bending. The largest bend was on dry wall and we bent enough to go under a 45 degree joint. As far as the floor I would use one or two layers of external grade 3/4" plywood. If you can get some scrap paneling try cutting and bending to determine how far you can go before you hear that dreaded snap. Lenny http://www.geocities.com/lenny_mchugh/
