John:
A friend of mine has a rip fence he uses for his circular saw. The
thing has two C clamps, one at each end, and there are telescoping
sections. I believe, though I'm not sure, that you can extend the thing
out to eight feet. I've been trying to get him to give me a make and
model, and when that happens, I'll send it to the List. The nice thing
about this kind of system, is that it'll work with any handheld saw.

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] accu-rip saw guide or something similar?

Does anyone have any opinions about what might be the best guide for
a circular saw? What keeps the Accu-Rip guide from moving while making a
cut?

John
