It all depends on what you are towing, as to what you need to tow it with. You need to know the over all weight of the camper to be towed as well as the tongue weight. You need a vehicle that can handle the job, not only as to the weight it can tow but also the suspension on the tow vehicle needs to be adequate to handle the tongue weight of the camper. Then there are the other factors such as engine oil coolers, transmission coolers etc. A dealer should be able to tell you the tow capacity of a vehicle. You also may be able to find out the towing info on the net.

My family currently has a Suburban, but it is time for something newer. We do a lot of camping and other activities for which we fill up the interior space and add a car top carrier. The gas mileage for around town is killing us though.
