Hi All, We just had a problem with the microwave arcing. Karen placed a plastic container and it was arcing all around the top. I called GE center to get more information about that problem. We were told that some recycled materials may have very small pieces of metal causing the problem. Also some recycled paper towels may have the same problem. >From now on when I put something in the unit I will listen for a few seconds >for the crackling sound.
