HI, Has any one here herd of the  sharp-all machine and does it really work and 
can a  blind  guy set all the different things on it???

  Carl,
  look on the blindhandyman text page, there are some articles there
  about sharpening.

  Unless a tool is very badly damaged you don't need power.

  There are a variety of stones etc. available and guides to help you hold
  tool blades at correct angles.

  Then there is the ssystem where you put fine grade
  sandpaper on a sheet of glass and sharpen against that. Very interesting 
because
  glass is very flat and makes sure you get a flat surface to work against which
  is vital.

  Dry grinders are a poor idea because it is too easy
  to get the tool too hot and detemper it.
