What kind is it? none really.
Some of us on the list grew up when punishment meant just that, your
back side pays the price and you learn.
Now you got kids raising kids, and people that never even had kids
saying how to raise them.
Want to find out just how your kids act? See if they do things just
to make you shout, get upset or even cry. Ask your kids just what do
they respect and how do they feel about others? if you get a flip or
no answer. Then you have it. They control you.
here is a real nice thought for all. All of the school shootings up
to now. have ben done by kids that have ben raised by the time out,
and other such wimp excuses for punishment. Before the 80!s you
hardly even head of a kid with a knife or gun in school. We didn't go
to school with metal detectors on the doors either. now you got all
that and death too!
punishment don't hurt the child, abuse does and doing nothing even does
worse.
So you can either take the knob off the valve or use quick connects
or such and deter them from playing with it. or, you can teach them
no means no, and not nothing like it does now.
