spiro, either one or more of you on this list must have an idea or
dream which you never followed up on a blind handman project. well many
years ago when I still had sight . I remember these precast very very
big concrete pipes like that run under major highways. and as you can
figure out there is a local cement place which estimates that they have
about 100 years of limestone left , and limestone is the major product
of cement. I have always though since I saw an underground home of
having enough money to either tunnel underground and have several
sections of this pipe which I think is either 30 or 40 feet llong and
plenty tall enough for a grown man to stand inside and reach up and not
be able to touch the top of this pipe . Now imagine . wood framing a
home inside that pipe. squaring it off , yet saving plenty of room for
air flow or room to run water , gas and or electric in those places
which the wood does not touch. I know, I am a dreamer but many famous
inventors were dreamers too. Many years ago I was inside such an
underground home whereas two of these big pipes were laid on a side
hill on an angle , braced up and then burried in gravel and dirt/
topsoil. imagine again if you would , mowing your roof or just growing
some sort of crown vetch on the roof. . so, no more dreaming tonight
but there are a few facts which I had when thinking of tunneling out
the back of my house. and it would be an awesome blind handyman-womans
project. Lee
