You won't really know for sure until you have a repair man take a look at it,
but if you had to put freeon in it, chances are you could have a small leak in
the system.

  Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Freezer Question

I have a huge upright freezer, and I turn it on, but it will not cool. I can
hear the compressor stay on a little bit, but then it just will not cool. I had
some free-on put in it about a year ago, and it seem to work for a while, but I
would like to know what other possibilities may cause this. I think this is a
Whirlpool and frost-vree approximately 19.6 cubic feet. Also, I have had this
particular freezer since 1999. Input really appreciated and sure do like this
list. Everyone have a good evening.
