Heya Dan,

I'm in Miami, and the neighbor who has one hasn't had any trouble with the
water getting unpleasant, though like any shallow pool (they used to have a 3
footer a few years ago the kids grew out of), the water is going to stay
bath-warm in the summer. I am not sure what color the rubber pools are, I would
imagine *not* cauldron black, but with all the rain, if you left the shower-cap
thing off, you could at least replace the warmer water cheaply, oh, about every
24 hours or so. :)

Best,
Joe Monks

  Joe,

Where do you live in Florida? I would think that a small shallow pool in
Florida would begin to boil around July 1. *GRIN*

My folks live outside of Tampa. They have a hot tub built into their
patio. During the summer it is too hot to get into the tub. *GRIN*
