The hot setup for something like that is to purchase two or more 6-volt deep cycle batteries wire them in series or series parallel so that you end up with 12-volts out to your inverter. At $90.00 per for a premium deep cycle battery, the inverter, a high quality deep trickle charger and a cart to hall the whole thing around. You could buy a decent generator and be done with it.

I believe that is what they are called.
