Hi Dan,
Well, I have been going to school and have been overrun with homework.
Now, one would think that, at my age, I would know that one needs to study
every day and not wait until the eleventh hour and fifty-ninth minute to
start wouldn't one? (LOL)
On the other hand, why would you want to do something today which could be
done tomorrow? (LOL)
I, somehow, managed to get through the course with a 3.91 GPA and I am sure
glad that it is over. My poor old brain could not take another 10 months of
that kind of treatment.
At any rate, I am now a licensed massage therapist (for whatever that is
worth) and am working to build up some semblance of a clientele.
I discovered (surprise, surprise) that the cost of living is going up much
faster than my Social Security Retirement is and I need something to make a
little extra money.
It was fun (ha-ha) sorta like hitting one's thumb with the hammer.
The massage business seemed like a good choice for making a little money and
being able to pretty much set your own schedule.
So far it seems to be working out quite nicely.
As long as I am dealing with clients pretty much one at a time the money
issue is not a problem because I know who the last person was. When I get
settled into my own place and have several clients during the day I really
do need to be able to verify what money they are giving me.
Anyone need a massage?
Take care and appreciate the info.
Cy, the Ancient Okie...

Hi Cy,

It's been a while. Where have you been hiding?

There are a couple of money identifiers out there, take a look at
Independent Living aids, possibly Blind Mice Mart.

I have a prototype currency identifier sitting on my desk at the moment,
it needs a little bit of work but we are in the process of technology
transfer issues and I am hoping we can get it to market before the end of
the year.
