Larry, I have a braille tape measure. The tape is marked every 6 inches. at the foot marks there are 2 dots and the number for the foot, and at the 6 inch marks, there is just a single dot. There was an extension off the case that was a 6 inch braille ruler that measured to 1/16 of an inch. It worked okay, but I could never get very accurate with it, within a quarter inch either way. The plastic 6 inch ruler broke off, so now I use it for rough measurements, and then use my click rule to refine the measure. I got it for a Christmas present a few years back, I think they got it at maxi Aids. Michael

Back in my memory banks I seem to recall something about a standard tape measure that had been retrofitted with dots or lines and an extension tab on the case to facilitate reading the thing. Am I up in the night or does something like this really exist? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
