This is what I did for my tape measure.  It works great, now.

I am very undecided on what to do about my talking tape measure.  I was going 
to send it in and it started working properly again.  Then it started reading 
totally inconsistent numbers, so I was going to send it in again.  This has 
happened about three times.  Is this a defect in my tape measure, or is it a 
natural defect for this talking measure?  Has this problem been corrected?  I 
am afraid it will be working when you receive it.  

I have changed the battery, turn it off to reboot its computer, but it makes no 
difference .  

If I send it in, is the address below the correct one where to send it?
