I almost hate to admit how much I know about that little piece of crap known as the Dodge spirit and the acclaim but I had bumped my head many years ago and I ended up owning one of each. Well now my head is better and I stay away from them. Well for any one that likes them cars I will not criticize. You can drive what you like and can afford and what works for you. Any way to make a short story long. The Spirit as far as I know only came with the 2.5 4 cilender, at least that was the most commen. Not a durable engine. You are lucky to get 200k but they would get you in and out of traffic ok.

I would never buy one because of their size as I am a taller person but it is a snappy little engine. not sure what it is. it is better known at that dealership as a" beater car" does the job but again I would not want to own one.
