The cart is enclosed, but it's just that flexi plastic stuff, and there are
openings above the windshield and since the enclosure is just flaps really.
Actually a rectangular tent of sorts, which feeds down over the roof like a
shirt or something.
You have zippers for the doors, and access to the back, and all hooks on at the
bottom.
For the last few years, I spent time stuffing pipe insulation in the cracks in
front and duc taping it down, but this year, I just told the girls, to wear a
coat.
It's Texas, cold don't last long.
That sort of propane heater Tony mentioned is something I will look up, but the
cart is enclosed enough so that it may be a concern.
Really the most we travel in the thing at a stretch is 16 blocks.
After that you have to park, get out, and hump the bush so to speak.
Really this means walk across a highway to get to a down town area where there
are shops, and activities for the kids and so on.
We refuse to take the thing on a highway.
And really, it is a blessing that the local cops let us use it on this little
road we do use it on to get our groceries and live our lives.
Cops actually pull up behind us and then go around us here.
That blows my mind!
I never expected them to let us get away with this.
I was just desperate and this is where my wife insisted on living.
My garage is my shop, so it is heated.
Going isn't such a problem.
Coming back after the cart has sat out in a parking lot and it has gotten dark
outside can be chilly though.
