Hi Rodger, How big do you want the table top? Using a table saw I read about this procedure which seams fairly easy. For example you want a 3'diameter top. you make a support that will be clamped to the table of the saw with a small nail protruding 18" from one end. Now this support arm is positioned so that the nail is 18" from the blade. This is the radius of the circle. Now place your plywood on the nail with the blade lowered. As you slowly raise the blade while spinning the plywood the pivot you will cut a perfect circle. A similar technique may be used with a router table and If using hand held cutters then you would cut from the top and use the pivot arm to support the router or saw I thought that I saved the original information but my magic fingers took care of that. I will try and find it for you. Can anyone tell me how to cut a circle out of a sheet of plywood for a table? I have all the saws and tools for most things but am still learning from your shows how to use them in different ways. I need to make a few different jigs for different shapes and could enjoy hearing from you on how to make them. Thanks for your helping advice.
