Bob,

Mine is just a small 18 incher. And I agree, that is one tool I don't like
loaning out and seldom do. For I have a 9 acre lot that is always needing a
tree cut down or if the snow has it way, many of them to cut up.

I won't let anyone else run my chain saw. I have a smaller Husqvarna now but
I had one before with a 26 inch bar on it. I let someone borrow it and it came
back with a bent bar and destroyed chain. The guy said it got wedged. I said
because it had a longer bar you still can't use it like a pry bar... Very easy
to touch the chain on the ground but I took down a 42 inch diameter oak with it
once. Heated the house for a whole winter off that tree.

  Bob,

Know what you are saying, my wife since I lost my sight became quite a
operator of hand tools. About the only thing she won't run, is my chain saw, I
still have sole ownership of it.

Lucky for me we live where the lawn mower is still an option at this time of
year. But I could give her a nice miter saw and she'd be most appreciative. Not
many guys have a wife that will ask to borrow their tools and know how to use
them...

If you remember the incident in PA a couple years back where that guy shot up
the school house full of kids, the lady they kept talking to was a nurse
practitioner. My wife was a midwife for 11 years in South
Carolina. She interned with that lady from Lancaster PA. My in-laws are a bit
more modern as they have electricity in their houses. But they are all
builders.

  Bob,

If your wife read the joke and isn't talking to you, get her a snow blower,
that always makes them happy. And if not happy, that will get them talking
anyway.

Did I say I was better than any body? It was a joke, I'm married to one so
get over it.

Bob Kennedy, do you feel you are better than the Amish? We can compare
objects; but we should not be saying things about people.
