You can test for radiation using a neon tube. Hold it near to the microwave and see if it lights up. Use a light probe if needed of course!

Fits on great. Thing is, all the manuals say that the repair should be done by a technician and they should check for leaks. The service center at the store we bought the microwave from doesn't test for microwave leaks. Seems kind of odd... Is there a way for me to do that myself?
