Well today I looked at the Skil 2510-02 14.4v LI drill. I liked it but was a little disappointed when Karen read me the information on the box. I was first surprised to learn that it is manufactured by Robert Bosch Co. I always thought that Skil was it's own co. Where I was disappointed was that it is made in China. Isn't there anything made here any more? A few weeks ago Karen needed a new iron and every make and model were made in China. Lowes also has another Skil drill on sale for the $24.95 price. There is a sign explaining that a mistake was made in the sales promotion flyer. This one is variable speed not the single speed as in the add. It uses old battery technology.
