Bob, Officially our local drag strip has been closed down but because of Carol's job with the sheriff's department we can sneak out there on occasion. We will go out this afternoon when I get home from work and walk the strip, I am a bit concerned about the surface. The last time we were out there was with my El Camino over a year ago to *you know* seat the rings. The only place we can go to get any accurate run results is either "Las Vegas Motor Speedway" about 100 miles south or "Larry Miller Motor Sports Park" about 390 miles north of us and that one is currently covered in snow.

She is finally cocked, locked and ready to rock. As is said in a previous post I had a vibration and had to pull the motor back out. The culprit turned out to be a bad pressure plate, Hayes over-nighted me another new one using the dynamic balance specs I sent them and they finally got it right. The motor is absolutely incredible. I knew when it fired for the first time it would be a winner. It is one of those motors that you don't hear as much as feel. It is almost like it creates so much exhaust over pressure that it disrupts your heart rhythm. I have experienced this feeling with top fuel motors but never with a gasser. I can't wait until this weekend to dyno run the car and find out how mean it really is. Carol has been practicing with the staging and hole-shot software on her computer and we will take it out to the local airport drag-strip and put a watch on it once it comes off of the dyno and stays together. Gentlemen, this thing is absolutely "bad to the bone." I will post Dyno results once I have them and they are verified.
