Is there issues with moisture migrating up through the slab? If you are not sure, seal a piece of plastic about 2 foot square to the floor and check it in 24 hours, if it is wet on the underside, you have this problem. They do make 2 foot squares of flooring that snap together, that are insolated, but that does not solve the level issue, and they are expensive. Couple suggestions: 1. make platforms for just the furniture Hard to re arrange the basement though. 2. build a box around the drain, about 2 foot square, that is the height of the basement floor on the outside, so a straight edge laid from the wall to the box would read level. Then lay down lumber for floor supports, lets say 2x2 by the wall, then when you get out further switch to 2x4, then 2x6, and so on. When you get to the 2x10 they probably do not need to set on the floor, they should be strong enough to hold the weight. put shims under the parts to make it level. cut and glue XPS foam between the boards, good insulation, and prevent moisture from migrating up. cover with 5/8 t&g plywood, and you should be good to go. Hope I explained my thoughts good enough. Does not sound like a fun project to me, good luck. Michael
