The Stabila level does beep as the ad says. I have one and used it to build my shop and I built it alone. They are pricey not because of the beeper built in, but the extra features that us totals can't use. Such as degree and angle of incline, and of course the ever popular "German engineered" parts. And a neat feature for those that can see is the 360 degrees of rotation for the vile so it can be read normally no matter the angle...
But if you want something accurate for either level or plumb the 48 inch model works great. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Fowle To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2008 5:36 AM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] Stabila Levels Larry, If it don't say something like beep or audible, it probably ain't We'll have a look at them when we have a chance and report back if anything looks usefull. As of now only the zercon audible level and the "smartlevel" are audible and those are only just usable in my not very humble opinion. Tom [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
