I was listening to a old handyman show and I heard Don Patterson talk
about some old sewer pipes which appeard to be wrapped in paper. that
was or is called Orangeburg pipe don. the reason I know this is , at
the house i am living in now they had orangeburg pipe from 1951 to 1978
which was replaced by a cast iron pipe. Orangburg was something that
actually held up pretty good in the heavy clay soil we have here . Not
sure if that product is still on the market. Lee
