Well the broken toilet is now history.  I just did the clean up 
job.  
     I almost decided to break the tank to remove since I had a terible 
time with one of the two bolts holding it in place.  The tank finally 
came off with the crack all the way to the bottom.  I did tape it with 
duct tape in case it wanted to split as I tried to remoce the bolts and 
remove it.  There is nothing worse than broken falling ceramic to get 
one heck of a cut.  I was almost afraid to get in the tank to hold the 
bolts with a screwdriver to loosen the nuts underneith it.  It is 
intact without a chip missing and ready for the garbageman.
     So now I have a water saver there too.  That was the last item in 
my house to change to a water saver item.  If it wouldn't have broke it 
would still be there since it almost never gets used since it is a 
basement bathroom.
     Too bad I can't get other things done that fast.
