Well the broken toilet is now history. I just did the clean up
job.
I almost decided to break the tank to remove since I had a terible
time with one of the two bolts holding it in place. The tank finally
came off with the crack all the way to the bottom. I did tape it with
duct tape in case it wanted to split as I tried to remoce the bolts and
remove it. There is nothing worse than broken falling ceramic to get
one heck of a cut. I was almost afraid to get in the tank to hold the
bolts with a screwdriver to loosen the nuts underneith it. It is
intact without a chip missing and ready for the garbageman.
So now I have a water saver there too. That was the last item in
my house to change to a water saver item. If it wouldn't have broke it
would still be there since it almost never gets used since it is a
basement bathroom.
Too bad I can't get other things done that fast.
