Barry! I thought that you would think your wife refusing to stay in the same room when you are showing off your toy would be a bonus! I have just finished building a bunker that will hold The coal for my new multi burner. It is made of 100% recycled corrugated iron and timber, one length of which fitted neatly up against the first post, but at the other end, there was a gap of several inches between the two components, so I put a 4 inch block in behind the plank. I used a couple of 6 inch nails to hold plank, block and post together. Even with a 3 inch or so pilot hole, it takes a heck of a lot of claw hammer whacks to drive those 6 inch crowbars home!
