The soap is just a concentrated dish soap mixture. If the leak is bad enough you can hear it. If you want something to check for leaks pick up an inert gas detector. There are several for checking for freon leaks but not to many go on to inert gas. Those are gases like natural gas, propane, sewer gas and alike. Now that I've got a gas leak fixed how often should I check it to make sure it doesn't return? I don't remember if I asked this question before, but is there a product that you can use that will create bubbles you can feel? I ask because the city (when they came out) used a soap that created bubbles but they couldn't be felt. But they appeared to be using a very thin soap. Thanks.
