Hi, You will never get bubbles that you can feel. You can get gas detectors that can detect inert, natural gas, and methane, and they cost much more than $70, and are audible. I have two one cost £150 and the other cost £300. If you want to be considered in the real world, as a blind engineer, then you must have to have the correct equipment, but if your just worried about gas leaks in your home, use your nose, or use a fixed gas leak detector where you think a leak is more likely to occur. regards. If the leak is bad enough you can hear it. If you want something to check for leaks pick up an inert gas detector. There are several for checking for freon leaks but not to many go on to inert gas. Those are gases like natural gas, propane, sewer gas and alike.
